The Scholarship Committee of the DC Chapter, NHAA, Inc. is responsible for providing scholarships and/or book awards to incoming freshmen from the Washington, DC Metro area who have been accepted to and plan to attend Hampton University. Scholarships are given based on a completed application and interview. Applications must be postmarked by Wednesday, April 30, 2012 and interviews will be given in May and June 2012. The Scholarship Committee provides an average of $5,000 per year with the following Named Scholarships:
